Atty. Roberto Rafael J. Pulido

Atty. Roberto Rafael J. Pulido is the Co-founder and Managing Partner of the Firm. He obtained his Master of Laws in Environmental Law, Summa Cum Laude, from Vermont Law School, the premiere environmental law school in the United States of America. He received his Juris Doctor degree with Honors at the Ateneo de Manila University, College of Law in 1998 and his Bachelor of Arts Degree, Major in Political Science from the University of the Philippines in Diliman.

He is also one of the experts in the emerging field of Environmental law in the Philippines. Atty. Pulido is the partner in charge of litigation and environmental law practice of the Firm.

In addition to his private practice, Atty. Pulido is an active member of the academic community. He is concurrently a Professor and Chairman of the Political Law Department of Arellano University College of Law where he teaches Constitutional and Environmental Law. He is also a Senior Lecturer at the School of Economics, University of the Philippines, Diliman, Quezon City. Balancing private practice with public service, Atty. Pulido has been serving as Director of the Office of Legal Aid, Arellano University, from 2011 to date.

Atty. Pulido is the author of the book entitled “Articles of War: The Law and It’s Limitations” published by Central Book Supply, Inc. in 2007.

ATTY. ERWIN L. TIAMSON

Atty. Erwin L. Tiamson obtained his Bachelor of Laws degree from San Beda College of Law and his Bachelor of Arts degree, Major in History, from the University of the Philippines - Diliman. He was admitted in the Philippine Bar in 1997. Atty. Tiamson has acquired a well-earned recognition in the field of land administration as Bureau Director of the Land Management Bureau (LMB) and Executive Director of the Land Administration and Management Project (LAMP). After leaving the government, Atty. Tiamson co-founded the Pulido and Tiamson Law Offices. He is the partner in charge of land and natural resources practice of the Firm.

Atty. Tiamson served as technical advisor and policy consultant at the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) and the National Economic Development Authority (NEDA). He was engaged in several projects that dealt with land administration and property right projects with international organizations such as the World Bank, Australian Aid for International Development, United States Aid for International Development, International Organization for Migration and The Asia Foundation.

His works includes the crafting of the 20-year DENR Land Sector Development Framework (LSDF) and the technical study for the Residential Free Patent Bill (now R.A. No. 10023). He was a consultant in the crafting of DENR Administrative Order (DAO) No. 2009-05 (Prescribing Guidelines for the Systematic Disposition of A & D land through Miscellaneous Sales Application under R.A. No. 730), DENR DAO 2010-19 (Revised Guidelines in the Reconciliation, Indexing and Reconstruction of Survey Records), DENR DAO No. 2010-12 (Rules and Regulations for the Issuance of free patents to Residential Lands Under Republic Act No. 10023) and DENR DAO 2011-06 (DENR-LGU Partnership on Land Titling). He also teaches Land Titles and Deeds and Property Laws at the College of Law, Arellano University.

Atty. Tiamson also co-authored the following books on public land titling: DENR-LGU Manual on Land Titling published by the Land Management Bureau’s Center for Land Administration and Management-Philippines under Economic Growth Hubs, Instructor and Competitiveness Project of the United States Aid for International Development, (2012) and Land Tilting for Banks, published by Advancing Philippine Competitiveness (COMPETE) Project of The Asia Foundation and the Foundation for Economic Freedom (2014).
